Mountain Brew started in 2018 with a single-origin Ethiopian on a borrowed roaster and a dream of a neighborhood café that felt like a second living room. Six years, three roasters, and a whole lot of lattes later — here we are.

Every bean is roasted in small batches right here in Asheville. The pastries come from Rise & Shine Bakehouse, two streets over. The art on the walls is from local painters who also happen to be regulars.

This isn't a chain. It's a place where the barista knows your name by week two and your order by week three.
